Adoption fees
The Adopter agrees to pay an adoption fee which contributes to the rescue to provide care, veterinary treatment, and rehoming efforts.
This fee is non-refundable.

Responsibilities of the Adopter
The Adopter agrees to:

Provide the Dog with adequate food, water, shelter, medical care, and exercise.

Comply with all UK laws regarding responsible dog ownership, including microchipping and licensing requirements.

Ensure the Dog is kept on a lead in public places unless in a secure, legal, off-lead area.

Keep the Dog’s microchip details up to date with the relevant database.

Inform the Rescue of any significant changes in the Dog’s health, living arrangements, or ownership status for the Dog’s lifetime.

Ensure that the Dog is not used for breeding, commercial gain, experimentation, or unlawful activities.
Welfare checks & reclaiming of the Dog

The Rescue retains the right to conduct welfare checks at agreed-upon intervals (e.g., 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months post-adoption).

If welfare concerns arise or if the terms of this Agreement are breached, the Rescue has the right to reclaim the Dog.

If the Dog is found in neglectful or dangerous circumstances, the Rescue reserves the right to take back the Dog without prior notice.
